Amalia Kontoyanni

Head of the Artistic Planning & Literary Department of the NTNG, Lecturer at the Drama School of the NTNG

Amalia Kondoyanni was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. She studied Linguistics at the Department of Philology, Faculty of Philosophy and Theatre at the School of Drama, Faculty of Fine Arts, at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She received her doctorate from the School of Drama of AUTh. She coordinates the Artistic Planning & Literary Department of NTNG since 2018 and is responsible for co-funded projects. She is a member of the Committee of the Greek Playwrights’ State Awards since 2010 and member of the Theatre Committee of the Municipality of Thessaloniki. She is a lecturer of dramaturgy and theatre theory at the Drama School of the NTNG, since 2007 and has co-operated as dramaturg in theatrical performances in Greece and abroad.
