Martha Foka

Martha Foka is a maskmaker, set and costume designer. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (School of Drama). In 2009 she participated in the international workshop "Art of the mask at Commedia dell'arte”, directed by Donato Sartori in Padova, Italy. She has worked with directors such as Simos Kakalas, Michael Marmarinos, Dimitris Baslam, Stella Michailidou, Rimini Protokoll, Angelos Fratzis and many others. She has also collaborated with the choreographers Fotis Nikolaou and Antonis Foniadakis. Having participated in several group exhibitions, in 2012 she had her first solo exhibition in Chios, Greece. She has taught construction of theatre mask seminars in various parts of Greece.
