Jörg Schuchardt is working as a stage- and lighting designer for theatre, show and corporate event.
Born in Eastern Germany he started his theatre career as a stage technician. 
After realizing first lighting designs he completed his examination as a lighting master in germany in 1998. 
At the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin he graduated as Stage and Costume designer with distinction.
Jörg has collaborated in various productions in Germany, France, Italy, England, Bosnia, Austria, Korea, Japan and recently with the National Theatre of Northern Greece in Thessaloniki. 
He realized stage- and lighting designs for touring productions, major corporate events for global players like the BASF, the Business Day at the Millenium Hall Frankfurt Main, as well as for events like the state visits of S.H. the 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso in Germany, Italy and Austria.
At Staatstheater Stuttgart / Germany, where he is working in the lighting department, he worked amongst others, with Claus Peymann, created lighting designs for Productions of directors like Sebastian Baumgarten, Oliver Frilic and the electro punk performer Peaches.
Jörg Schuchardt ist teaching lighting design and scenography at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Hildesheim, Holzminden and Göttingen.
