Artemis steals Iphigeneia in an marvelous way from the altar of sacrifice and moves to barbaric land of Taurida, where she is obliged by King Thoa to do human sacrifices, leading to slaughter Greek prisoners of war. The victim becomes victimizer. Orestes reaches Taurida after the order of Apollonas to steal from the temple the holy statue of the Goddess. He is arrested along with friend Pyladis and they are in danger of getting sacrificed by Iphigeneia.
