Invisible Cities

Invisible Cities
Opening: Lazaristes Monastery - Sokratis Karantinos Stage, 02/02/2001

Four young, talented choreographers, put their stamp on this performance by the N.T.N.G. Dance Theatre. An invisible city was inspired by the novel of the same name written by Italo Calvino. Four separate stories, the Phoenix 700, the Shipwreck, the City and Gagnant, all describe the passage towards metamorphosis, the agony of death and the struggle for survival, human relations characterized by a sense of unaccomplishment, life in large cities and the needs they produce, but also a penetration into the inner landscape of the soul.
