“Constantine Cavafy - Dream”
Production based on the life of Alexander the Great
Thodoris Economou and his outstanding team have created a unique dream-world inspired by the work of the Alexandrian poet Constantine Cavafy. Travelling players born of our imagination are transported to a fluid space in which music serves as a reservoir, recalling and envisioning, informing and revealing memories which the poet lifts out of the past and deposits in the present, sometimes as a warning of things to come.

“
Ι
n the dreams of poets”
A musical production based on the poetry of Kostis Palamas and other poets from Greece and abroad
Fenia Christou’s personal musical journey converges with her poetic encounters in this production combining music and poetry. A cycle of musical settings for poetry and original compositions is interspersed with dramatized poetry readings to create a show that’s refreshing, erotic, youthful and at times satirical. Christou draws on the work of the great Greek poet Kostis Palamas for her primary inspiration, but also looks to other poets modern and contemporary, greek and international, for additional material.
