The programme of the performance includes two parts: 'Chronicle of a simple story' in music by Bach, Vivaldi, Haindel, and Marais and 'Psalms' in Stravinsky's Music. The 'Chronicle of a simple story' narrates the story of love with various images leading to its happy ending. 'The wedding banquet (beginning), the memories of the two young people, the meeting the friends of the couple, the duet, the morning, the marriage, the bouquet which is getting prepared, the wedding party and the night. 'Psalms' relate the religiousness of the others. Stravinsky overcomes the boundaries of subjectivity, using even an imaginary faith 'speaking' on the name of an anonymous society.
