'I extended ropes from one bell-fry to another, garlands from a window to another, gold chains from a star to star and I am dancing..', were the lyrics of Arthur Rimbaud which gave the inspiration for the creation of this ballet performance. Based on the adventurous life of the poet, the libretto, describes in the first part his acquaintance with the poet Verlaine, while in the second it refers to the seeking of himself and his death. As the choreographer Daniel Lommel said, for the first time, he didn't work with the dancers of the group absolutely technically, but he exhorted them to express themselves sentimentally and discover the true story of the play themselves.
