'The Blunder' is a composition of many little intrigues, which the servant Mascarille makes up. The apple of discord is a young lady, slave of Troufaldin, whom he wants to sell her to either of them. The whole play presents all the inventions of the devilish servant and the respective blunders of his young master. A performance vivid and cheerful, swamped from the feeling of love, the lack of reasoning characterizing the love and the youth, and the wit which many times exists in his servant's mind.
