For the first time, the NTNG organises theatre workshops aimed at children and young people, between the ages of 4-17. Through acting games, theatre exercises, improvisations, role plays and drama techniques, participants are given the opportunity to develop their creativity, fantasy and expression as well as their collaboration skills with other team members. The use and dramatisation of fairy tales, fables, improvised stories, and even theatre texts, opens new roads to expression and creativity. These activities are food for thought; giving feedback on creativity and helping young people make aesthetic choices. Objects, theatre costumes, music, lights, on-stage visits and meeting with the theatre staff make the young audience familiar with the magical world of theatre. The workshops, which take place from the 17th October 2015 to the 29th of May 2016, are run and supervised by experienced theatre teachers.
