The writer reminds us with her play the drama of the Atreides, conveying the myth in modern times. The difficulty of the man to understand and admit the weaknesses of human nature and confront the torments that the human mistakes cause, is the principal theme of this contemporary Orestes. The human conceit, another important issue of the drama, creates conflicts, which bring catastrophic consequences in the family. Is it permissible for the man to succumb to powers that ignore any limit? In the play we don't see only the wear of human society and communication but also the fatal collision of the two sexes. The play poses also the question of the deeper human relations and the closer bonds that can be created.
