A twofold presentation of Stravinsky's work. The Dance Theatre of NTNG returns to Thessaloniki to mount two emblematic stage shows by Igor Stravinsky, the 'Marriages' and 'Spring Ritua'l. Both pieces of music which belong to the same creative period of the composer are inspired by the Russian folk tradition: the Russian folk weddings and the fertility rituals respectively. The 'Marriages' unfold on white scenery, which sets off the mobility vocabulary of the choreography, which in its turn moves between expressionist, neoclassic and modern dance. It is an intense dancing performance, which requires a solid group of dancers with high quality technique. The 'Ritua'l, on the other hand takes place in a garden where phantasms and images from the unconscious emerge.
