Edmond gives an end to his for long finished marriage and his up to now life and begins a trip in New York's underworld, which evolves in a nightmarish 'Odyssey'. In the 23 short scenes of the play, Edmond wanders during the night in the nightmarish world of the large city, and meets the paid sex, the criminal mania and harsh violence. At the same time, his efforts for human communication turn out fruitless as the pure financial transaction intervenes in all of them. Finally, his trip becomes a journey in the utmost of self-destruction to lead him to real knowledge and existential peace of mind, deriving from the coexistence of people after the abolition of prejudices and relations of power and imposition.
