Permanent Costume Exhibition: Traces of the Ephemeral
The National Theatre of Northern Greece is organizing the permanent costume exhibition "Traces of the ephemeral" at Vasiliko Theatre. Part of the NTNG’s impressive costume collection is permanently housed in the centre of Thessaloniki, where the public can enjoy easy access to it.
Costumes of high aesthetic value, from landmark plays staged at the National Theatre of Northern Greece during its existence, are displayed in specially designed display cases that blend into the space of the foyer. The exhibition is curated by the set and costume designer,

The exhibition comprises costumes, designed by renowned Greek designers including:
Giorgos Vakalo, Vassilis Vassiliadis, Spyros Vassiliou, Denny Vachlioti, Apostolos Vettas, Nikos Engonopoulos, Liza Zaimi, Giorgos Ziakas, Kleovoulos Klonis, Kenny McLellan, Ioanna Manoledaki, Giannis Metzikof, Dimitris Mytaras, Nikos Sachinis, Vassilis Fotopoulos, Dionysis Fotopoulos
et al.

The NTNG Costume Exhibition is part of the Partnership Agreement Operational Programme “Central Macedonia 2014-2020” (ESPA 2014-2020) and co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Public Investment Programme (PIP). For this reason, all the informative material relating to the exhibition is published in both Greek and English.
