The play is based on concrete events that Greece has lived and expresses the eternal problem of the conflict of the generations within a text of modern oppression and technocratic domination. The writer claims that honest and healthy young people, are crashed by the champions of the past, facing them as worms. The play does not defend any generation but expresses situations, leading generations in permanent oppression, misunderstanding and thus alienation. The main question the play poses is whether the tyrannical application of the children's education by their parents must be maintained. Giorkakis, the main character of the play, represents the world, which protests and seeks urgently its physical and mental freedom.
