Don Juan is a French aristocrat of the XVII century, who entrenched in the impunity that his descent secures him, he tramples all the codes of honour considered as sacred. He scoffs religion, violates the shelter of a monastery, dishonors the mystery of marriage, seduces innocent girls, kills in duels his equivalents, humiliates his benefactors, he is disrespectful towards his father, he misappropriates the wages of his servants and pretends cynically the champion of ethics, provoking thus God and people. For all those ethical offences, final upright judge is Heaven. Where people seem helpless to punish the unjust man, the invisible ethical law appears, the Divine Retribution which does not leave universe to disintegrate (Pantelis Prevelakis).
