Jean Wong is a MA Fine Arts graduate from Wimbledon school of arts (London, UK) and BA Fine Arts graduate RMIT (Melbourne, Australia). Coming from a fine arts background Jean has been working as a camera operator and assistant editor since 2012 specialising in filming documentaries, live music performances, experimental shorts, and events. He is also a collaborator at the Chinese Visual Festival an annual film festival in London showcasing independent fiction and documentary cinema in the Chinese speaking community around the world. Besides commercial projects Jean seeks opportunities to collaborate with artists and institutions in the cultural sector. Formerly a logistics officer in a fine art gallery (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) and a office intern at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year in the Natural History Museum (London, UK), Jean is experienced in image research, documenting artworks in photography, archive and colour management. His past and current clients includes EPIC Collaborative, Vivum Intelligent Media, Riverhouse Productions, Acoustic Nations, Rhinegold live, Basetouch Productions London, Confucius Institute, Commotion Films and Magnolia Images. Jean is proficient with Lightroom 5, Photoshop CS6, Adobe Premiere Pro CC & Final Cut Pro 7. Jean is also the creative director of Greenhouse Archives a online video production company based in London.
