The President of NTNG Mr. Dimitris Garoufas and the Artistic Manager of NTNG Mr. Sotiris Hatzakis had meetings with representatives of Cultural and Edua cational Organizations of Thessaloniki as well as Municipal officials from Western Thessaloniki in order to plan joint action and develop a series of cooperative schemes between the National Theatre of Northern Greece and bodies of Thessaloniki.

The President of NTNG Mr. Dimitris Garoufas and the Artistic Manager of NTNG Mr. Sotiris Hatzakis met with representatives from several Municipalities from We stern Thessaloniki on Tuesday November 10th 2009 in order to discuss the foundation of the People’s Stage in the NTNG and lay out a cooperation protocol for a variety of cultural activities.

The meeting was also attended by the Eparch of Neapoli and Stavroupoli Mr. Varnavas, the Mayor of Efkarpia Mr. Haralampow Pantazopoulos, the Mayor of Polichni Mr. Konstantinos Thepdorodes, the Vice-President of Culture in the Municipality of Evosmos Mr. Antonios Kintzides, the Vice- President of the Economic Department of the Municipality of Menemeni Ms. Stamatia Theologou, the President of the Cultural Centre of the Municipality of Ampelokipi Mr. Dimitrios Pavlogiannis, the President of the Cultural Organization of the Municipality of Eleftherio-Kordelio Mr. Ioannis Farmakis, the President of Culture and Artistic Educations of the Municipality of Sykies Mr. Giannis Dlatsis, the representative from the Municipality of Stavroupoli Ms. Niki Datsogianni and the representatives from Moni Lazariston Mr. Nikos Boztanides and Lazaros Konstantinides.

On Thursday November 12th 2009 the President of NTNG Mr. Dimitris Garoufas and the Artistic Manager of NTNG Mr. Sotiris Hatzakis met with the Rector of AUTH Mr. Dimitris Manthos, the Vice-Rector Ms. Athanasia Tsatsakou, the Dean of Fine Arts School Mr. Georgios Katsaggelos and the Presidnet of the Social policy of AUTH Ms. Anna Tsiligiroglou-Fahantidou, in order to discuss issues of closer cooperation and joint activities between AUTH and NTNG.
