MACBETH by William Shakespeare directed by Anastasia Revi (05/01/2016)
MACBETH
By William Shakespeare
Directed by: Anastasia Revi
Theatre of the Society for Macedonian Studies
15/01/2016
Macbeth, a name as strange as the mist in Scotland. Shadows, murderers and sleepwalkers live in the castles. Witches come out of forests and lakes. In the battlefield, victory overpowers the mind: blood calls for more blood. The battle between good and evil grows bigger and charms the soul, for “Fair is foul, and foul is fair”.
Shakespeare’s masterpiece translated by Dimitris Dimitriadis, newly directed to resemble a Gothic fairy tale by Anastasia Revi, art director of the prizewinner theatrical team “Theatre Lab Company” based in London.
