Auditions for the selection of the participants in the Theatre Workshop of the National Theatre of Northern Greece are due to take place

On the first day of the auditions candidates should be all present at 10 a.m., dressed in comfortable clothes and ought to know a song a cappella.
These masterclasses of theatrical research and applied theatre studies which addresses professional actors, graduates of theatre schools as well as graduates of University theatre departments, up to 35 years old, with good knowledge of the English language.
During the first phase, from October 2007 until April 2008 three masterclasses circles will run, whose research work and rehearsals will lead to a series of presentations of two or three plays by directors Niketi Kontouri, Yannis Paraskevopoulos, Ektoras Lygizos and the cooperation of Anastasia Theofanidou, Kostas Vomvolos and Nikos Voudouris. The masterclasses will be taught by distinguished Greek and foreign artists and theatre theoreticians among which are : Eleni Varopoulou, Vassilis Papavasiliou, Reni Pittaki, Sofia Michopoulou, Dimitris Dimitriades, Dimitris Maronitis, Platon Mavromoustakos, Savvina Giannatou, Mariela Nestora, Kostas Aronis, Nikita Milivoyevich, Alexander Popovski, while the coordination and organization is undertaken by director Niketi Kontouri.
