“Mama Loba: Nights with myths” is an interactive mythic narrative with female archetypes at its core.

The performance revolves around the untamed nature of the human soul. The set of instincts, wisdom, magic ecstasy, faith, freedom and awareness that connect the Feminine with Mother Wolf and the Moon. These tales explore the space between darkness and light, myth and truth, logic and the imaginary. Together, they form an area of forested transgression with claws sunk deep into true experience. Tales with a body and a voice; symbols, music, images and rituals are brought to life by present emotion and the memory of the collective subconscious.
 

DIRECTOR’S NOTE

Mama Loba knows where you hide your secrets, your wounds and your powers. She brings them all to light—tenderly and irrepressibly. She shows you the cycles of life, pushes you to move on and be patient, to listen to your truths even if they scare you. She teaches you peace and justice amidst violence and despair. A rite of passage wrought from the tools of theatre and performance. A sharing. A wish. For freedom!
