The National Theatre of Northern Greece presents the action “
Thessaloniki-Excavation 3” at the
Self-Help Promotion Programme of the Psychology Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki on
Friday 23 December, at 18.00.
The programme is realized with the collaboration of the
Organisation Against Drugs (OKANA) and is funded by the
Ministry of Health.
Thessaloniki-Excavation 3, the tour around Thessaloniki and its neighbourhoods goes on with a new collection of texts from great writers, such as:
Manolis Anagnostakis, Lazaros Andreou, Leonidas Zisiadis, Giorgos Themelis, Tolis Kazantzis, Giorgos Katos, Thanasis Keramidas, Viky Kosmopoulou, Evi Bina, Manolis Xexakis, Athanasios Panelas, Lazaros Pavlidis.
The texts are combined with music and songs by
Dimitris Zmpekos, Stavros Kougioumtzis, Manos Loizos, Nikos Papazoglou, Spyros Peristeris and Manolis Chiotis.
The texts and the songs mirror the world of old and contemporary Thessaloniki. They refer to the city’s history, its people and its neighbourhoods. They are testimonies that highlight, with humour and emotion, valuable literary material.
