NTNG AND ARSIS (ASSOCIATION FOR THE SOCIAL SUPPORT OF YOUTH) CALL FOR NECESSITIES.
NTNG and ARSIS are launching an effort to collect essential items and strengthen structures and actions to support vulnerable groups.
For the Social Grocery Shop of ARSIS and of the Municipality of Thessaloniki and – and the dozens of families supported by this institution we collect:
- Long term food (vegetable oil, rice, condensed milk, tomato juice, sugar).
- Personal hygiene products (shampoo, bath foam, toothpaste etc).
- Household items (kitchen and bathroom cleaning products – toilet paper etc.).
In order to support the millions of refugees passing through Idomeni, Kilkis, and crossing every day the borders between Greece and FYROM, we collect:
- Dried food (croissants, raisins, long life milk, pasteli sesame snacks, nuts, biscuits, canned food – no pork, bread rusks, packed juice – individual pack size).
- Baby care products (diapers for babies and children, hand and face wipes, baby soothing cream, talcum powder, disposable bed incontinence pads – to protect changing tables, baby dummies, baby bottles and baby pouches, baby towels, canned instant baby cereals, baby milk, instant baby food, one use plastic cups and spoons, baby blankets, long life growing up milk).
- Personal hygiene items (individual soaps, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, sanitary napkins).
For the Children’s Hospital of Mytilene and for children arriving by boat we collect:
- Children’s clothes: raincoats, coats, socks, children’s walking shoes, gloves, scarves, winter pullovers and children’s trousers.
Items are collected every day until 27 November at the Society for Macedonian Studies, 2, Ethnikis Amynis str., from 9.00 a.m. to 18.00 p.m. Information: tel. 2315 2000 14.
