Mr Harilaos, who owns a factory that produces ouzo, is trying to hold on to his small company and cover the debts that threaten to drown him. While trying to escape from the lenders who are bullying him, full of despair, he abandons his poor fiance and has an affair with a wealthy bride. Things, however, do not go as planned. The 'crafty ones' will complicate things even further and Harilaos will have to pretend he has gone crazy to avoid arrest. This delightful comedy by Giorgos Roussos, which was also transferred to the small screen with tremendous success, starring two great performers of Greek theatre, the unforgettable Vasilis Logothetidis and the inimitable Nikos Stavridis, is never outdated and guarantees abounding laughter and poignant satire, particularly through the refreshing directors perspective of Nikos Armaos.
