A prince and a princess want to avoid their predetermined marriage and escape from their kingdoms. They take refuge in dreaming area where they fall in love denying their real identities - personalities. In order to return to their kingdoms they take back their names but as masks, as disguise and they get married. This journey was done the opposite way: Instead of knowledge, at the end, we find the lie. The writer laughs at human illusions. His laugh over human foolishness is tremendous. In one of his letters he said 'I am very bussy at that time, I am marrying and killing some people on paper'. It was the time which he wrote this travesty of erotic comedy, 'Leontios and Lena'.
