The subject of this play is a wedding that the betrayed love leads it to death. The plot happens in three phases. Engagement, Wedding, Death. Each one of them constitutes a theatrical act. The mother of the young man and the father of the young lady get their children engaged. A cloud however threatens from the very first moment the joy of the wedding that follows. The bride is still in love with Leonardo, married and father of one child, living in the same area with his wife and his mother in law. Blood separates the family of the rival from the family of the groom. The Felixes haved killed his father and his brother. The mother of the groom conceives the threat of blood that hovers over the nuptial atmosphere. On the day of the wedding Leonardo visits the bride, although she refuses his propositions and tries to get purchase on her wedding as a sheet anchor, because she's afraid of herself. However, when the wedding ceremony is over, she succumbs to her passion. She leaves with Leonardo. The groom with the insult in his heart as a knife follows the road for the forest where the couple of the two adulterers hides. The scenic allegories of death and of the moon as well as the tragic dance of the lumbermen prepare the atmosphere of blood. The two men will fight with knives and they will both be killed. There is only left the wailing of the women, of the mother, the mother in law, the bride and the dance of the howlers to close with this ancient lament this blood wedding.
