BAND-ages ''P.I.G.S'' RELOADED

BAND-ages are back. The National Theatre of Northern Greece, continuing its alternative actions, presents the musical – theatric performance “P.I.G.S” Reloaded, by the BAND-ages team. A subversive appointment being renewed, after last year’s successful performances, at the music venue “Gaia Live”.
“P.I.G.S” Reloaded, are here for three performances, December 2011: Sunday 18/12 - Monday 19/12/ & Sunday 25/12/2011 and every Sunday and Wednesday from January 2012.

The performance
• Is it true that the pig, the twelfth sign of the Chinese horoscope, gets easily angered?
• What is all really about and what is labor reserve?
• Is New Zealand the new Promised Land?
• Can someone smoke in a taxi n New Delhi?
• Is it easier to catch a cold when you get a haircut?
• Do brave lads feel fear?
• To pig or not to pig?
• Will you join, Freulein, the P.I.G.S?
• Will you…?

The answers to these questions are given through the performance, singing and dancing of the BAND-ages!
We saw them two years ago. We meet them again this year. A group of young actors and musicians of the NTNG with verve (poise and brio!!!), who dance and sing at the rhythms of popular, theatric or non-theatric songs.
Balancing between prose and music, they “reload” their batteries and, having a fresh haircut, they comment on the tragicomic nightmare of our “poor” reality.

The “pig attitude”, whatever it is, however it may be expressed, emerges as the central theme of all fourteen scenes of the performance, bringing to life characters but also tragicomic situations of our everyday lives.
