The National Theatre of Northern Greece participates in the campaign for information and mobilization concerning AIDS, which is organized by the 4th Health Region of Macedonia and Thrace, in collaboration with the Hellenic Center for Disease Control & Prevention (HCDCP) of Thessaloniki.

Within the framework of this campaign, the National Theatre of Northern Greece will present a theatric performance held at two different city locations (Tsimiski str. – Aristotelous Square & Egnatia str. – Aristotelous Square), on Friday, December 2, 2011, at 2 pm, in which NTNG actors and Drama School students will be taking part. At the same time, informational printed material will be distributed by volunteers.

The information campaign, which is being organized in the framework of the World AIDS Day, (December 1, 2011), includes a series of events taking place in Thessaloniki, in the headquarters of all 36 Health Centres of the 4th Health Region and in the capital cities of the Central and East Macedonia and Thrace prefectures.

The goal of this effort, having as a central message the phrase “Chain of Life – Give Hands”, is the formation of a mental chain which will encompass and include the responsibility scope of the 4th Health Region, from Thessaloniki to Evros, expressing the citizens’ sensitivity towards seroposivity.
