CARAVANI, a contemporary dance performance by Katerina Antoniadou’s “The Social Body Dance Lab”, will be presented at the Society for Macedonian Studies on Tuesday 6 September at 21:00, as part of the 2nd Dassous Festival parallel events.
CARAVANI is a professional workshop on contemporary movement and creation aiming to develop the dancers’ kinaesthetic awareness when dancing solo, in duets, or as parts of a group. Performers embody and express ideas and images of contemporary life through movement. The performance conveys and discusses the human need for inclusion, survival, catharsis.
CARAVANI travels from East to West, carrying memories, conveying desires and singing of the longing within and outside of the country.
