The National Theatre of Northern Greece organizes the 2nd Meeting of Young Artists of Southeast Europe entitled “Ancient Drama and Politics. Approach of the Comic” from the 22nd to 29th of September 2018 as part of the International Network of Ancient Drama of the Greek Ministry of Culture.
During the Meeting, a workshop on ancient theatre mask-making will be held by Martha Foka, scenographer and maskmaker, from the 20th to 28th of September 2018.
The workshop’s main topic is the creation of a theatre mask and its function, as an important acting tool and as a transformation technique, in performance from ancient times until now.
National Theatre of Northern Greece invites professional artists (until 35 years old) and graduates of Universities of Fine Arts, specialized in scenography, to participate in the workshop. The applicants should send their CV to
