Α few words about the play
The Theatrical Group of Deaf “Crazy Colors” presents a show based on the novel “The Ministry of Utmost Happiness” by the great Indian writer Arundhati Roy.
The novel weaves together the stories of people navigating some of the darkest and most violent episodes of modern Indian history. The main character is Anjum, a Muslim intersex woman (hijra) who was born as Aftab, the long-awaited son of Mulaqat Ali, a doctor of herbal medicine.
