The National Theatre of Northern Greece and the Greek National Tourism Organization join forces to the benefit of tourism and culture in Thessaloniki > (29/01/2018)

The National Theatre of Northern Greece and the Greek National Tourism Organization are continuing their dynamic collaboration with a view to helping contemporary Greek culture become more outward-looking and providing the world with a window on contemporary Greek theatre. Thessaloniki is now a popular year-round destination for thousands of visitors from Europe, Russia and the Balkans.

The Greek National Tourism Organization has supported the National Theatre of Northern Greece in its cultural mission by covering the cost of surtitling six productions the theatre will be staging during the 2017–2018 season:

Gkiak and Salvatores Dei were performed in January with English surtitles, while Russian Revolution was staged with both English and Russian surtitles.

Thanks to the Greek National Tourism Organization, audiences are now able to attend performances with English surtitles on specific days of the week. The schedule is as follows:
FROM 13 JANUARY 2018 AT THE LAZARISTES MONASTERY STUDIO THEATRE
With English surtitles every Friday (21.00)
