The two great interpreters, Lavrentis Machairitsas and Giannis Kotsiras, travel in Thessaloniki for a big concert at the Forest Theatre, on Monday the 13th of June.
Last winter they were together at the Gialino Music Theatre, in a surprise encounter, where, at the second part of their programme, the audience’s “Paraggelies” starred. There, the audience asked and the musicians played very loved songs of Gounaris, Bithikotsis, Plessas, Filippos Nikolaou, Yiannis Parios, Savvopoulos, Loizos et. al. The audience’s response was big and spontaneous and the applause warm and loud.
So, this summer, Giannis Kotsiras and Lavrentis Machairitsas shall share with us these songs that the audience proved to love! And of course, new and old songs taken from their rich and loved repertoire and their creative.
Musicians: Akis Katsoupakis (orchestration, piano), Akis Abrazis (bass guitar), Kostas Michalos (guitar), Vangelis Machairas (bouzouki), Filippos Spyropoulos (drums), Akis Gavalas (drums), Steve Tesser (guitar).
Andreas Kourtis has supervised the lighting, Yiorgos Karagiannidis and Stratis Karadimitrakis the sound.
