A collaboration protocol has been signed between the National Theatre of Northern Greece and the
Cyprus Theatre Organisation (THOC) expressing the shared will for wider collaboration and exchange between the two theatres.
The two state theatres renew an artistic collaboration programme aimed at promoting and developing theatre art. The agreement is based on four pillars: a) the study, research, and interpretation of ancient drama, b) the development and enhancement of modern Greek playwrighting, c) classic and contemporary world repertoire, d) research and experimentation in new theatrical trends.
The collaboration protocol will include co-productions, exchange of performances, actors, theatre theorists, technicians, and other theatre specialists, as well as educational programmes, teachings, seminars, lectures and every other type of collaboration on theatrical education, training, organisation, function, theatre technology and artistic choices.
