In the 'Fourth dimension' Ritsos collects big, multi-verses compositions, having the form of a poetic monologue inspired from ancient mythology, Homer and the tragic poets. 'Orestes' and 'The return of Iphigeneia' are two poems referring to the ancient tragic heroes. Two texts expressing the loneliness and the troubled consciousness, depicting images of people, locations and objects, with direct result to the Greek subconscious and to the personal experiences of the poet.
