The National Theatre of Northern Greece, as part of its social policy, participates in World AIDS Day with the event "I hear your silence", a presentation of real stories of people living with HIV. The event attempts to illuminate unknown, tragic moments of their life and to give an end to their stigmatization and isolation. Moreover, it aims to raise awareness and show support for people living with HIV. The event will start with a recorded reading of the introductory text "A strange epidemic" by Giannis Palamiotis. This will be followed by the presentation of seven monologues written by the artist-set designer Giannis Proios and by HIV positive people who were encouraged to write their stories by the health workers of the Hellenic Center for Disease Control & Prevention (HCDCP) that treated them. An open discussion with the audience will follow. The discussion will be coordinated by Mrs. Fani Goma, Head of HCDCP Thessaloniki Office. "I hear your silence," a journey from darkness to light
