I wish to thank the State and the Minister of Culture for his confidence. It is an honor and a challenge to serve a historic cultural institution, the National Theatre, inextricably linked with Thessaloniki and Northern Greece, a cradle but also a compass of culture.

An honor, because culture and the values it bears lie at the centre of balance on a personal and collective level.
A challenge, because we now have to combine effectively and into a harmonious whole good governance, respect for the State and the citizens who support us in difficult times, the skills of the technical, administrative and artistic resources of the organization, the change of outlook that is required, and the innovation and leadership that are the essential forces of creation.
The new Board of Directors will work with the new artistic director Giannis Vouros, always bearing in mind a basic principle: that the Theatre is its people and its audience.
I wish a new beginning and strength to one and all!

Graduate of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of English Language and Literature, she is active in the field of communication and sponsorship.
In the past, she worked as a teacher in the private sector and taught as an advisor on Equality and European Programmes for female entrepreneurship.
She is a member of the Macedonian Centre of Contemporary Art, the Pontian Women Association “Merimna Pontion Kyrion” and a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Friends of Children with Cancer “STORGI”.
She has served as Vice President of the Macedonian News Agency, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Science Centre and Technology Museum “NOESIS” and is a Board member of the New Association of Women Scientists.
