The educationalprogramme, of the National Theatre of Northern Greece in co-operation with the
Vafopoulio Cultural Centre “Thessaloniki through the eyes of G. Th. Vafopoulos” is
addressed to students of secondary education. Its subject is Thessaloniki and how much it has changed during the last century, that is from 1917 until today, as far as its population composition, social stratification, architecture etc are concerned. Data relevant to the changing face of Thessaloniki are drawn from the writings of the great writer and poet
Giorgos Vafopoulos.
