Of the approximately 170 students of the University of Macedonia who were interested in the initiative, 27 were selected after the relevant procedures, most of whom will present the "Theatrical Analogion" with works of Nikos Kazantzakis, Elytis, Antoine de Saint Exupery, Andreas Empeirikos, Maria Laina, Jorge Bucay and Telemachus Kosmetsa. It consists of excerpts from literary and theatrical texts presented in a theatrical-made form, and directed by NikosVoudouris. The performance “Theatrical Analogion” takes place under the Cooperation Agreement which was signed last October between the NTNG and the UοM and also under the broader cooperation between the two bodies. The reason why this specific activity was selected is because through the analogion, that is to say public reading literary or theatrical texts, the introduction of the students to the world of the theatre and their familiarity with it become easier. It was named Polyphonic in order to highlight the equal participation of all actors and their collective work, which are both necessary elements in any dramatic action.
